I thought it looked like earth when you first started as well. Not such a bad thing… and a good idea for another project! I might have to try something like this, but I just got the Hero Arts infinity die ornament set, so I could do a layered card with this effect. Oh, the possibilities! Great cards – lovely idea! Thanks for yet another year of cards. Love them!!

Wonderful cards! I love those pearlescent watercolors. Might have to add that set to my Christmas wish list! I wonder if you've ever tried applying watercolor ground (transparent) to black cardstock? I've used it on patterned paper when I wanted to alter the color, and it worked really well–even better than I'd hoped. No major warping and absolutely no pilling. It could be a good alternative to black watercolor paper. I know Daniel Smith even makes black watercolor ground. Just a suggestion for anyone who is interested. Thank you for sharing your gorgeous artwork, Kristina! Take care, & have an awesome day! ๐Ÿ™‚
