Sweden's

Major
routes are served by the X2000, a high speed train which travels at
speeds of up to 200km/h (125mph) -slashing travel times in Sweden. The
fastest train between Stockholm and Gothenburg now takes only 2 hours

reservations are required on all X2000 and night trains.

InterRail passes are valid in Sweden. Other passes include the ScanRail
and Sweden Rail pass.
